Costa Rican designer Andrea Quiros Balma, graduated from the Savannah College of Art and design with a double major in furniture and fibers. She develops responsive and emotionally durable products and is interested in the creation of systems, structures and textures. Having lived and studied in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the United States, she has had the opportunity of exploring and experiencing the cultures and desires among us. These perspectives and variations inspire a holistic approach in her design work. Andrea looks at design as a service and takes pleasure in thorough research and experimentation. She designs because it is her way of enjoying life; the moment when the imaginary merges with reality.
